The Konami Open: A Prestigious Swimming Event

The Konami Open Swimming Championships is an esteemed competition officially recognized by the Japan Swimming Federation. Athletes from elementary school students to national representatives compete on the same stage. Over two days, top-tier swimmers from across Japan will showcase their skills, promising a series of highly competitive races.

Meet Japan's National Swimmers

During the Konami Open, spectators will have the opportunity to see invited athletes, including those who competed in the 2025 World Swimming Championships, as well as a "Next Generation" of swimmers from the World Junior Swimming Championships. These athletes represent the pinnacle of Japanese swimming and will inspire future generations.

Introducing Konami Sports and Shinga Academy's Collaboration

In an innovative approach, Konami Sports and Shinga Academy have combined their expertise to create "Konami Sports Shinga’s Academy," a dual-program childcare facility. This new after-school program not only focuses on academic preparation for junior high school entrance exams but also provides sports coaching within one facility.

Historically, Shinga Academy placed importance on both academic foundations and emotional education, but faced challenges in providing physical activities due to limited space. Likewise, Konami Sports has recognized the difficulty for working parents to transport children to extracurricular activities on weekdays. Hence, they have established a comprehensive approach to childcare that eliminates transportation hassles while promoting both academics and athletics through the Konami Sports Shinga’s Academy setup.
