The first standard, T/SPSTS 035-2024, offers detailed definitions regarding the performance characteristics and operational functionality of grid-forming storage systems. This comprehensive guide serves as an essential tool for urban planners and engineers in cities like Shenzhen, which are crucial for accommodating the growing need for efficient energy solutions.

On the other hand, T/SPSTS 036-2024 elaborates on the operational principles and procedures needed to initiate black start scenarios, crucial for restoring power after significant outages or failures.
