Curriculum Associates has proudly introduced its latest cohort for the Extraordinary Educators Leadership Collaborative (EELC), a landmark initiative established to foster the growth and development of school leaders across the nation. In this fourth year of the program, the Class of 2027 welcomes 15 distinguished principals and educational leaders hailing from 12 different states. Each member of this cohort has been selected based on their unwavering commitment to enhancing student achievement, implementing innovative practices in their schools, and promoting positive outcomes for their students.
Throughout their participation in the EELC, these school leaders will engage in a series of collaborative learning experiences tailored to strengthen their leadership capabilities and instructional techniques. They will have the opportunity to interact and learn from fellow leaders, share best practices, and explore effective strategies for cultivating supportive educational environments where both teachers and students can thrive.
"The 15 leaders selected for this year's class are not just participants but catalysts for change within their educational communities. Their efforts range from uplifting school culture and empowering educators to utilizing data analytics that enhance instruction and bridge learning gaps," noted Kelly Sia, CEO of Curriculum Associates. "We are excited to pair this astute and ambitious group of leaders with each other, as well as provide opportunities for us to learn from them, ultimately amplifying their influence on the educators and students they serve."
Members of the Class of 2027 are currently in their first to fifth years of leadership roles. Their selection was based on various criteria, including their demonstrated effectiveness in leading Curriculum Associates' i-Ready and Ready programs. These educational leaders exemplify exceptional student growth and achievement through well-defined assessment strategies, innovative problem-solving, and a dedication to maintaining high educational standards for all students.
Building on the progress made in previous years, the EELC fosters a vibrant community for school leaders to exchange ideas and learnings directly from each other. Professional learning topics covered in the collaborative include nurturing positive school culture, leveraging data for informed instruction, enhancing educator wellness, building impactful learning partnerships, and celebrating both student and teacher successes.
In addition to direct learning experiences, cohort members will also have opportunities to showcase their insights and leadership practices within the broader Extraordinary Educators community through future professional learning events. By doing so, they will further extend their impact and contribution to the shared goal of enhancing educational outcomes nationwide.
