Mike Maroone Honda's 9th Annual Car Show to Benefit Local Habitat for Humanity

Mike Maroone Honda 9th Annual Car Show

Mike Maroone Honda is thrilled to announce the return of its 9th Annual Car Show, set for October 11, 2026, from 10 AM to 3 PM at the dealership located at 1103 Academy Park Loop, Colorado Springs. This year’s show promises to be even better than last year, where enthusiasts gathered to raise a remarkable $34,000 for Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity. The event highlights community spirit while supporting a noble cause aimed at providing safe and affordable housing.

The car show serves as a vibrant gathering for car lovers, families, and community members alike. Vehicle owners can exhibit their prized possessions, competing for various awards with a judging and awards ceremony scheduled for 2 PM. In total, 18 trophies will be awarded across categories including People's Choice, Most Unique, and Best Race Car. The event is designed to be family-friendly, featuring activities such as face painting, low car limbo, and a Hot Wheels play area. Enthusiastic kids can also participate in a Power Wheels race and test their skills in tug-of-war competitions.

Adding to the excitement, this year introduces a Car Giveaway where each entry costs just $5—with no limit on entries! Attendees will have the chance to win a running and driving car, with the winner announced at the awards ceremony, but attendees must be present to claim their prize.

All funds raised during the show will directly benefit Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity, an organization dedicated to creating secure, budget-friendly housing for families within the Colorado Springs area. This event reflects Mike Maroone Honda’s commitment to giving back to the very community that supports them.

“Nine years in, this show has truly become a highlight of our year,” said Zach Lewis of Mike Maroone Honda. “It goes beyond the incredible vehicles; it symbolizes our dedication to the families and neighbors in Colorado Springs.”

In the words of Iain Probert, Chief Strategy Officer at Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity, “Every dollar raised helps us build safe, stable housing for local families. The fact that it’s done through a day filled with celebration and community spirit makes it even more special.”
