Upcoming Release of SONIC & FRIENDS Sanrio Characters

On October 31, 2025, fans of both Sonic the Hedgehog and Sanrio characters will be thrilled to hear about a new collaboration: the launch of the "SONIC & FRIENDS Sanrio characters" plush toys and mascots. This highly anticipated collection will be available exclusively at SEGA STORE TOKYO, SEGA's flagship store in Japan.

In addition to the plushies, a special greeting event featuring Sonic the Hedgehog and Hello Kitty is scheduled for the release date. This event is not to be missed, as Hello Kitty will be donning a Halloween costume for the occasion! It's an exciting chance for fans to meet these beloved characters in person.

To manage the anticipated crowd during the launch period from October 31 to November 3, SEGA STORE TOKYO will implement a ticketing system for entry. This will help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

These plush toys showcase an imaginative collaboration between Sanrio's iconic characters and Sonic and his friends. The lineup features:

• - Shadow x Hangyodon

Each plush toy, measuring approximately 230mm wide, 300mm tall, and 200mm deep, is suitable for ages six and above and will be priced at 4,950 JPY (including tax).
