Cell Impact Evaluates Nanocrystalline Titanium for Key Clients with Innovative Technology

Cell Impact Takes a Significant Step in Evaluating Nanocrystalline Titanium

Cell Impact AB (publ), a prominent global supplier of advanced flow plates for fuel cell and electrolyzer manufacturers, has announced plans to evaluate nanocrystalline titanium produced in Japan for a number of undisclosed clients. This evaluation is crucial as it aims to assess the material's formability using Cell Impact's proprietary high-speed forming technology, known as Cell Impact Forming™.

The material in question is not just an ordinary titanium; it is specifically designed for high-performance applications and has already been utilized in serial production. This evaluation comes as part of an ongoing effort by Cell Impact to further develop the capabilities and applications of its innovative technology in the manufacturing sector.

To conduct the evaluations, Cell Impact will acquire a test coil of the nanocrystalline titanium, and this transaction is being facilitated through a collaboration with Toyota Tsusho Corporation, a well-established global trading and investment firm. Both companies have entered into a confidentiality agreement to ensure that the information exchanged throughout the course of this project remains secure and proprietary.

Following the completion of the evaluations, Cell Impact and Toyota Tsusho plan to share relevant information regarding the test outcomes and explore potential next steps based on the results. Daniel Vallin, CEO of Cell Impact, commented on the significance of this project by stating, "This project presents a crucial technical assessment of the cell impact forming process for titanium applications. By generating data on manufacturability and forming performance, clients will be able to gauge the potential of our technology for future industrial applications."

Cell Impact Forming™ is a patented and unique high-speed forming method that boasts superior scalability and cost-effectiveness compared to traditional forming processes. It is distinguished by its environmentally friendly attributes, utilizing minimal electricity and no water during the forming process, making it a sustainable choice for manufacturers.

As the technology evolves, there remains a vast array of possibilities for the application of nanocrystalline titanium across various industries, particularly in sectors where durability and performance are critical. The ability to evaluate and adapt such materials for different industrial applications could revolutionize manufacturing processes, offering better solutions to meet modern demands.

Cell Impact is publicly traded on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market, with Mangold Fondkommission AB serving as the Certified Advisor to the company. As they embark on this significant evaluation, the potential for enhanced industrial applications of nanocrystalline titanium could lay the groundwork for future breakthroughs in material science and manufacturing technology.
