The Global Phenomenon: Gaudí Exhibition Makes Its Way to Korea
A groundbreaking exhibition titled
'Gaudí: Back to the Origins', produced by NAKED, INC., has garnered attention globally after its staggering success in Japan. Attracting an impressive total of
330,000 visitors across its venues in Tokyo and Osaka, this exhibition is now set to embark on an exciting world tour, with
South Korea being its next stop. This event commemorates the 100-year anniversary of the famed architect
Antoni Gaudí's passing, making it a fitting tribute to his legacy.
A Journey Through Gaudí’s Genius
The exhibition is the first of its kind, established through a partnership between NAKED, INC. and the
Gaudí Foundation, showcasing unique artifacts from Gaudí's life and career. Visitors can expect to see original drawings of the
Sagrada Familia, personal letters, and even tools used by Gaudí himself. Each artifact offers a glimpse into the mind of a genius whose work harmoniously blends art and architecture. Additionally, cutting-edge psychological research into Gaudí’s handwriting reveals insights into his creative thought processes, providing a deeper understanding of his innovative mind.
Innovative and Engaging Exhibits
The exhibition takes an interactive turn with the introduction of a 'Digital Funicular', which recreates Gaudí's architectural principles using modern technology. Visitors can explore how gravity, light, and natural forms influenced Gaudí’s designs, all while engaging with a digital model of his signature ‘inverted’ structures, allowing them to experience his groundbreaking design theories firsthand.
Moreover, NAKED's expertise in immersive spaces will be on full display. The exhibition employs
projection mapping and
soundscapes to transport visitors into the enchanting world of Gaudí. Attendees will find themselves enveloped in the harmonious blend of light and sound, reflecting Gaudí’s vision of nature interwoven with architectural ingenuity.
