The renowned bakery that originated in New York, THE CITY BAKERY, is excited to announce its strategic expansion to Fukuoka with a novel business model. The new outlets, THE CITY BAKERY BAR & GRILL and THE CITY BAKERY at Canal City Hakata, are set to open on July 18.

A Unique Concept Inspired by Local Flavors

THE CITY BAKERY is stepping out of its traditional comfort zone by introducing a teppanyaki grill using fresh ingredients sourced from Kyushu. Known for its rich culinary heritage, Fukuoka offers a vibrant backdrop for this fresh venture. Visitors will have the opportunity to indulge in delectable grilled seafood, meats, and vegetables complemented with home-baked bread from THE CITY BAKERY.

Celebrating a Decade in Japan

In celebration of its 10th anniversary in Japan, THE CITY BAKERY is also launching its first bakery and cafe venue in the Hakata area.
