Tokyo International Flower Short Movie Competition #3 2026
Flowers connect people, evoke memories, and inspire courage for the future. The third edition of this competition invites creators to submit 90-second short films that express their thoughts, memories, emotions, and messages centered around the theme of flowers.
From stunning visuals that capture the beauty of flowers to memories intertwined with life scenes, or freely imagined stories, there are no restrictions on artistic expression. We encourage you to confront flowers sincerely and take on the challenge of creating your unique visual narrative.
The Grand Prix winner will receive a cash prize of 100,000 yen. Furthermore, all submitted works will be showcased at the renowned Temps de Flors de Girona Flower Festival in Girona, Spain, taking place in May 2026. This event attracts over 400,000 visitors and will include a screening at the local cinema, Cine-Truffaut. Additionally, in October, an exhibition will be held at a gallery in Paris. The feelings you express through flowers and film will transcend borders and languages, delivering your unique perspective and story to the world.
