H.I.G. Capital, a prominent global alternative investment firm with $75 billion in assets under management, has announced the appointment of Younghee Choi as the head of its Capital Formation division for the Asia region. Based in Hong Kong, Younghee will be responsible for spearheading fundraising efforts for H.I.G.'s private equity, credit, and real estate platforms across Asia.
With a robust background spanning over 15 years in capital raising and private markets, Younghee joins H.I.G. after an impressive tenure at Blackstone. During her time there, she held significant roles within the firm’s Institutional Client Solutions (ICS) and Private Wealth divisions, specifically as a Senior Managing Director responsible for the ICS division in South Korea. Younghee’s expertise and established relationships with leading institutional investors in the region will be instrumental as H.I.G. endeavors to bolster its investor base in Asia.
