The vibrant city of Abu Dhabi recently celebrated its artistic contribution to the film industry through the regional premiere of "F1: The Movie" at the stunning Yas Marina Circuit. This monumental project was made possible through the cooperation of the Creative Media Authority (CMA), the Abu Dhabi Film Commission (ADFC), and local production partner Epic Films. Notably, over 280 local crew members participated, alongside 15 UAE-based interns who gained hands-on experience integrated into the international production team.

Abu Dhabi’s reputation is rapidly rising as a world-class film destination, attracting major global franchises such as "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning" and "Dune: Part Two," thanks to its iconic architecture, robust production support, and generous incentives for filmmakers.

The interim General Director of the Creative Media Authority, Mohamed Dobay, stated, “From production to premiere, Abu Dhabi played a key role in bringing this story to life. This project represents a significant milestone for our film ecosystem, highlighting the breadth of local talent involved.” Sameer Al Jaberi, director of the Abu Dhabi Film Commission, emphasized that the film demonstrated the full potential Abu Dhabi offers as a global production destination.
