Central to this upgrade is a fully integrated Class A isolator that doubles the site’s capacity for sterility testing and allows for the parallel processing of multiple samples.

The isolator’s design supports both open and closed filtration processes, granting the laboratory added versatility to meet diverse product testing requirements. The layout features integrated pass-through systems, enabling samples to transition directly from the manufacturing environment into the lab. This design element significantly mitigates contamination risks and upholds product integrity—two critical factors in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

These improvements aim to reduce testing times by up to 50%, expedite batch release processes, lessen bottlenecks, and smooth the transition from clinical to commercial phases. Such advancements significantly bolster the site’s capabilities in terms of contamination control and sterility assurance, preparing the facility to meet commercial-scale demands.
