Kamogawa Sea World, a central facility of Granvista Hotel & Resort based in Tokyo, has exciting news for visitors. The popular water event, known as the Summer Splash featuring the killer whales, has been extended until October 1, 2025, in celebration of the park’s 55th anniversary.

This beloved event has been frequently described on social media as a must-experience attraction. During the Summer Splash, the killer whales create an unforgettable spectacle by splashing water into the audience with their powerful tails, a feature known as 'Tail Burst'. Guests are invited to feel the overwhelming power of these majestic creatures while enjoying the refreshing coolness of the splashes.

1. Killer Whale Summer Splash
- Duration: until October 1, 2025
- Details: Free event inside Ocean Stadium, entry fee applies.

2. 55th Anniversary Celebrations
- Anniversary merchandise and menu items are available for purchase in various shops and some restaurants within the park. (Availability subject to change.)
- New Photo Spots: Featuring installations in collaboration with Matsuo Ruka, Yuhi, and Kamogawa Sea World, scheduled to remain until the end of March 2026.
- Exhibitions: Special photo exhibition titled 'Everyday Life at Kamogawa Sea World' by photographer Aki is held in the basement of Rocky World until late September 2025.
- Panel Exhibition: 'ShakaMata & Kamogawa Sea World History' is running in the basement of Rocky World until early January 2026.
