The MiniCity EXPO 2025 seeks to gather children, young people, and adults from around the globe to engage in discussions and co-create solutions in alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Located at the serene Katsuoji Temple, this event will provide a platform for participants to voice their ideas, share insights, and collaboratively announce their commitments to future sustainability.

What to Expect at the World Children’s Regional Union Summit

The summit empowers children and youth to take a leading role in discussing the future of their communities and societies. Here, representatives from children’s cities across Japan will engage with adult leaders on critical social issues, discussing local progress and collectively forming a "Future Co-creation Declaration."
Originating from the "Kanagawa Children’s Union" founded in 2018, this initiative has successfully advocated for children's voices to reach governmental platforms through recommendations made to local officials.

Building on successes from previous summits, including participation by youth representatives from Ukraine and Germany, the 3rd summit promises to deliver engaging programs designed to inspire and involve all generations.
