Celebrate Kamogawa Sea World’s 55th Anniversary
Kamogawa Sea World, located in Chiba Prefecture, is excited to announce a series of events to celebrate its upcoming 55th anniversary on October 1, 2025. Under the leadership of Director Hiroshi Katsumata, the venue will kick off the celebration with a special lecture titled "The Journey of Kamogawa Sea World." This will be followed by a series of themed lectures on saturdays, sundays, and public holidays throughout October.
Special Lectures
The special lectures will take place every weekend, focusing on different themes each week. These include:
- - October 1, 2025 (Wednesday) at 12:00 PM: "The Journey of Kamogawa Sea World" (Director Hiroshi Katsumata)
- - October 4-5 (Saturday & Sunday) at 11:00 AM: "The Growth of Belugas"
- - October 11-13 (Monday & Holiday) at 11:00 AM: "Conservation Activities for Endangered Species"
- - October 18-19 (Saturday & Sunday) at 11:00 AM: "Breeding of King Penguins"
- - October 25-26 (Saturday & Sunday) at 11:00 AM: "The Mysterious Deep-Sea Creatures"
Each session will last about 20 minutes and will provide visitors with insights into the experiences and knowledge of the dedicated animal keepers at Kamogawa Sea World. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who loves marine life to deepen their understanding and appreciation of these amazing creatures.
55th Anniversary Message Boards
Starting October 1, two message boards will be set up in the aquarium, allowing guests to leave congratulatory messages. Visitors can write their sentiments on specially designed message stickers and attach them to a backdrop featuring the anniversary logo. This interactive installation encourages everyone to contribute to a memorable display of warm wishes that will be cherished for years to come.
The message boards will be located:
1. In the "Lecture Hall" next to the restaurant "OCEAN"
2. In the official hotel’s restaurant, "Mermaid"
The message boards will be available for use from October 1 to October 31, 2025. Visitors are encouraged to express their feelings, but please avoid including personal information or inappropriate messages. Management reserves the right to remove any unsuitable content.
