Toyota Mobility Foundation Seeks Innovative Ideas for Inclusive Sports Experiences

Toyota Mobility Foundation Launches 'Mobility for ALL' Project

The Toyota Mobility Foundation (TMF), led by Chairman Akio Toyoda, has initiated an inspiring project titled 'Mobility for ALL.' This initiative aims to create an inclusive society where everyone, regardless of their abilities, can enjoy sports and engage in diverse experiences without barriers. As part of this project, TMF is actively seeking innovative ideas to make sports viewing more enjoyable and accessible for all.

In particular, selected proposals will be piloted at the upcoming TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO, set to open in the autumn of 2025 in Koto City, Tokyo. The arena is conceptualized as a hub of possibilities, centering around sports, mobility, and sustainability, committed to unleashing new opportunities for everyone.

Recently, TMF launched a call for ideas focusing on the theme of daily mobility, emphasizing solutions that cater to the needs of people with disabilities while making transportation enjoyable and exciting. Now, the initiative is taking a step further by inviting submissions that enhance the excitement of watching sports.

The objective is to build a future where everyone can share joyful, emotional experiences, regardless of disability, as they cheer for their favorite teams. The awarded ideas will be tested at basketball games held by the professional club Alvark Tokyo, part of the B.LEAGUE, within the new venue.
