The GREEN GROWN MARCHE Summer Harvest Festival is set to take place on May 31 and June 1, 2025, at the GREEN SPRINGS complex in Tachikawa, Tokyo, operated by Tachihi Strategy Lab Inc. This exciting event expands upon the weekly food market held every Tuesday, transforming it into a larger celebration of local produce, culinary delights, and live music.

Event Highlights


The festival will showcase a vibrant market featuring up to 18 stalls of vendors selling fresh vegetables, fruits, seedlings, and artisanal processed goods, including baked sweets, seasonings, coffee, and bread. In addition to the marketplace, the event will host food trucks, live talks, and free concerts featuring five talented artists.

This summer harvest festival invites everyone—from farmers to food enthusiasts—to come together and enjoy the bountiful offerings of the season.

Featured Vendors


Among the notable vendors at this year’s festival are:
  • - Yono-naka: Known for their exquisite peanut butter.
  • - foodmood: A popular snack shop located in Kokuritsu.

Additionally, Nomura Seisaku will provide children with vegetable seeds as a special giveaway. Don’t miss the opportunity to try out new dishes at the food trucks, which include u3doco, famous for their mackerel sandwiches, and Okueido Suisan, debuting with their mountain trout.

Talks and Performances


One of the festival's main attractions will be a special talk on seeds and vegetables, scheduled for May 31 at 1:00 PM at the PUBLIC SQUARE. A panel of esteemed speakers will include:
  • - Kumiko Takahashi: A multi-talented author and lyricist from Ehime Prefecture, known for her works including Watashi no Nou Tsugi and Sono Nouji, Watashi ga Kaimasu. She also runs an online store, Chigaya Agricultural Products Store.
  • - Kazuya Takahashi: The head of warmerwarmer, dedicated to promoting organic and heritage crops while supporting organic farmers.
  • - Tatsuya Nomura: President of Nomura Seisaku, who transitioned from audio technician to a passionate farmer promoting Western vegetables.

Free Live Music Performances


Music lovers can enjoy a range of performances from recognized artists:
  • - Afro: Captivating audiences since forming the band MOROHA in 2008.
  • - Tenniscoats: An innovative duo known for their unique sound and collaborations, performing on the evening of May 31.
  • - D.W. Nicholls: With their uplifting tunes, they’ll perform on June 1 and continue to capture hearts across Japan.
  • - Isuki Takai: A remarkable singer-songwriter with a classical flair to his music, sure to leave a lasting impression.
  • - Green Sketch: A collaboration between talented artists delivering soulful and uplifting music, performing on June 1.

About GREEN SPRINGS


Opened in April 2020, GREEN SPRINGS embodies the theme of well-being, featuring a large central plaza surrounded by lush greenery. The facility includes an infinity pool hotel, a multi-functional hall with approximately 2,500 seats, restaurants, shops, and office spaces.
