Experience the Wonders of the Starry Skies
In an exciting event for astronomy enthusiasts and photographers, Vixen Co., Ltd., a leading optical equipment manufacturer based in Tokorozawa, Japan, will showcase the winning entries of the "6th Starry Sky Photo Contest" from April 17 to June 14, 2026. This unique exhibition will be held at the Astronomical and Scientific Information Space in Mitaka City, Tokyo.
The Astronomical and Scientific Information Space serves as a hub for visitors to easily access the latest discoveries in astronomy and appreciate the beauty of the universe. Since its opening in September 2015, supported by the National Astronomical Observatory and other organizations, Vixen has actively participated in workshops and exhibitions, enhancing public engagement with astronomical science.
During the exhibition, attendees will have the opportunity to view 16 stunning photographs that were awarded Grand Prix and various prizes in the contest. Each photograph represents the unique perspectives of individuals gazing up at the night sky, encapsulating the emotional resonance and scientific wonder of the cosmos.
