Florida Charter Schools Achieve Remarkable Success

The recent release of the 2025-2026 school grades by the Florida Department of Education has drawn attention to the impressive performance of charter schools across Florida. The Florida Charter School Alliance (FCSA) has praised the results, highlighting the exceptional academic achievement reflected in the results. For the 2025-2026 academic year, charter schools have serviced over 407,000 students, demonstrating a consistent commitment to providing quality educational opportunities for families throughout the state.

This year’s statistics confirm what many families and educators already recognize: Florida’s charter schools are among the top performers nationwide. The numbers reveal that 78% of these schools secured an 'A' or 'B' grade, surpassing district-run public schools, where 76% achieved similar ratings.
