Faith at Work Summit Unveils New Global Alliance

In a remarkable gathering held in Mason, Ohio, over 400 leaders from various sectors—including business, ministry, education, and nonprofit organizations— convened for the 2026 Faith at Work Summit. This year's theme, "Frontiers," served as a platform to explore the integration of faith and work across all professions and vocations.

Among the significant highlights of the event was the focus on addressing and overcoming the challenges currently facing the Faith at Work Movement. Participants engaged in keynote presentations, workshops, practitioner panels, and collaborative discussions aimed at redefining what it means to incorporate faith in the workplace.

Gathering with Purpose

The Summit's design revolved around a central question: What will it take to move the Faith at Work Movement beyond its current limitations? Chuck Proudfit, founder and President of At Work On Purpose (AWOP), emphasized the forward-looking vision needed to elevate faith in the workplace. "Imagine a future where it is the norm—rather than the exception—that Christians actively express their faith at work," he expressed.

This vision guided every aspect of the Summit, which was structured around three crucial tracks: Creativity, Collaboration, and Continuity. These themes are essential for the movement's growth and sustainability. Creativity encouraged the development of innovative pathways for spiritual impact, while collaboration highlighted the need for partnerships across organizations, churches, and industries. Continuity aimed at ensuring that faith initiatives thrive well beyond their initial momentum, cultivating future leaders within the movement.

Diverse Speakers and Perspectives

Throughout the Summit, more than 50 speakers and panelists shared insights and methodologies that have been effective in various settings, from churches and ministries to academic institutions and businesses. Notable speakers included acclaimed figures in the Faith at Work movement, each bringing unique perspectives. Shae Bynes, for instance, discussed how creativity in business reflects how individuals carry the image of God in their spheres of influence. Michael Kaspar illuminated the need for collaboration through a Kingdom lens, offering practical steps for attendees.

Mark Greene stressed the importance of continuity by encouraging sustained collaboration and long-term discipleship to enhance the movement's longevity. Insights from Jerry White on the importance of intergenerational connectivity in faith-based initiatives resonated deeply with attendees, as well.

The Launch of Mission2Monday

The culmination of the Summit marked the birth of Mission2Monday, an international alliance designed to catalyze the Faith at Work movement. Introduced by Proudfit and Greene, Mission2Monday aims to facilitate collaboration among Christians from various sectors, thus fostering ongoing learning and resource sharing. Initial initiatives include masterclasses led by leading voices in the movement, AI-driven conversations for connecting leaders, and a global Listening Tour to assess the needs of working Christians worldwide.

“This initiative is about unleashing the full contribution of dedicated Christians to positively affect the world,” stated Proudfit. He described Mission2Monday as a modern extension of the first-century Church within the workplace.

Looking Forward

As the Summit wrapped up, participants left with renewed vision and actionable plans, dedicated to advancing the integration of faith in professional environments. The event not only connected like-minded individuals across industry lines but also reinforced the notion that work can be a profound avenue for spiritual growth and community impact.
