An exciting one-day event called Kabukos 2026 is set to take place on the night of February 21, 2026, extending into the early hours of the 22nd. This event, organized in collaboration with Seibu Railway and Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, will allow participants to enjoy a unique cosplay photography experience in unconventional settings such as train stations and trains.

A Unique Photography Opportunity

The concept for this event originated from current station staff of Seibu Railway, who are also passionate about cosplay. They envisioned creating a photography experience in areas that are typically challenging to access. The goal is to utilize the real and authentic environment of the train station for a surreal photography experience that blends the everyday with the extraordinary.

Participants can capture stunning images against a backdrop where the daily life of Kabukicho intertwines with a feel of fantasy and excitement.

Event Details

• - Date and Time: February 21, 2026, from 7 PM to the early morning of February 22, 2026. City lights and the environment of Kabukicho at night will provide a perfect setting for photographers and cosplayers alike.
• - Venue: The event will take place jointly at Tokyu Kabukicho Tower and Seibu Shinjuku Station.
• - Attendance Capacity: The event will accommodate 150 participants in total - comprising 100 cosplayers and 50 photographers. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis.
• - Eligibility: Participants must be 20 years or older, and a valid identification must be presented.

• - Cosplayer Tickets include changing facilities and cloak services.
• - Those with Cosplayer Ticket A will have exclusive access to a terrace on the 17th floor of Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, featuring panoramic views of the Seibu lines.
• - All tickets come with a 1,000 yen meal voucher that can be used at the Shinjuku Kabuki Hall on the second floor.
