Having begun her career at Kroger as a co-manager in 1993, Reed’s journey through various leadership roles, including store manager and vice president of merchandising at Fry's and Fred Meyer, has equipped her with profound insights into customer preferences.

Jake Cannon Takes Over Cincinnati-Dayton Division


With Reed's promotion, Jake Cannon will step in to lead the Cincinnati-Dayton division, starting August 1. Cannon has been with Kroger since 1999, beginning his career as a Produce clerk. His extensive background in various managerial roles includes responsibilities across several functions such as Store Management, Key Retailing special assignments, and most recently, as the Louisville division president. His familiarity with the Cincinnati-Dayton market and understanding of customer needs make him an apt choice for this important division.

Josh Harpole Named Louisville Division President


To succeed Cannon in leading the Louisville division, Josh Harpole will move into this role from his current position as Vice President of Deli, Bakery, and Prepared Foods. Harpole joined Kroger in 1994 as a courtesy clerk and has since accrued valuable leadership experience across several departments. His track record for driving team success and contributing to overall strategic goals will bring fresh energy to the Louisville division.
