Rivasta and MODE Begin Beta Offering of SYSTEM Integration for BANKEN Signage and BizStack

Rivasta and MODE's Groundbreaking System Integration

Rivasta Inc., headquartered in Koto-ku, Tokyo, and MODE, Inc., based in California with a branch in Tokyo, have announced the launch of a beta version for their new system integration feature. This feature links Rivasta's "BANKEN signage"—a digital signage solution for construction sites—with MODE's "BizStack," an innovative tool designed to streamline data management in various sectors including construction.

The integration enables the display of environmental data such as video feeds, wind speed, and vibrations directly on BANKEN signage, which aims to enhance productivity and safety at construction sites. Demonstrations of this beta feature will be available from December 10 to 12, 2025, at the upcoming JAPAN BUILD TOKYO event. A formal rollout of the system is anticipated in the spring of 2026.

Background of Development

Efficiency in communication is crucial for successful construction site operations. However, the industry faces challenges such as a severe shortage of skilled workers and a complicated multi-tier subcontractor structure. Consequently, sharing real-time updates regarding construction conditions has become increasingly complex. With the tightening of safety regulations, particularly the labor safety law amendments scheduled for 2024, there is a pressing need for enhanced management systems.

Rivasta has been addressing these barriers through its existing construction management service, "Buildee." This all-in-one cloud service supports essential tasks such as coordinating communications during daily operations, managing access, compiling safety documentation, and tracking progress—serving over 750 partner companies. Furthermore, BANKEN signage can sync with Buildee to ensure that vital information—including project plans, site diagrams, and worker qualifications—is readily available on digital displays across the site.

On the other hand, MODE's "BizStack" represents a cutting-edge solution for integrating field data. This platform captures and analyzes diverse datasets from sensors and cameras in real-time to improve operational efficiency and safety. With the increase of available data from instruments used on-site, the necessity for a streamlined process allowing personnel to share and access this information in real-time has become essential.

Overview of the New Feature

The system integration function employs IoT devices such as temperature and humidity sensors, anemometers, cameras, and machinery operation indicators to facilitate data interchange between BizStack and BANKEN signage. The visualized data can then be displayed in real-time on the digital signage, empowering on-site personnel to monitor hazardous activities more effectively and make quick decisions based on changes in weather or working conditions.

The shared digital dashboard promises to enhance collective situational awareness throughout the site, ensuring that everyone has access to the same critical information.

During the JAPAN BUILD TOKYO event at Tokyo Big Sight, Rivasta will demonstrate how data gathered and analyzed by BizStack can be integrated into BANKEN signage, illustrating how various information related to temperature, humidity, wind speed, and dust is visualized in the construction environment.

Future Plans

The beta version of this feature will gradually be made available to clients using both BANKEN signage and BizStack, with full-fledged service anticipated for spring 2026. Rivasta and MODE plan to explore integrating additional data from Buildee into BizStack, thereby combining operational planning data with IoT sensor data for analytical purposes. This integration aims to enhance project performance evaluation and potential safety risk alerts.

Moreover, the companies are committed to maximizing the value of workplace applications, including future services like construction vehicle management, by developing seamless system integrations.

Conclusion

Both Rivasta and MODE are committed to advancing the construction industry by providing innovative technological solutions that improve data management and safety. This new system integration is a significant step forward in realizing those ambitions.
