Exclusive Oliver Peoples Sunglasses for 'The Phoenician Scheme'



Oliver Peoples, the luxury eyewear brand hailing from Los Angeles, has teamed up with renowned director Wes Anderson to unveil a unique pair of sunglasses specially crafted for his latest film, 'The Phoenician Scheme.'

In this film, actor Benicio Del Toro portrays the character Zsa-zsa Korda, who dons these custom-designed sunglasses, making them a significant part of his on-screen presence. The sunglasses feature a bold upswept design, handmade in Italy, showcasing a dark mahogany frame complemented by true brown lenses. Additionally, they are designed with universal-fit nose pads to provide comfort for a wide range of wearers.

Remarkably, these special sunglasses have been produced in a limited quantity of only 10 pairs worldwide. Each pair is numbered and engraved with the names 'ANDERSON / DEL TORO' along with the logo of the film on the temple. To complement this exclusive item, each purchase includes a specially designed case, a cleaning cloth, and a unique box inspired by vintage props featured prominently in the film.

These one-of-a-kind sunglasses are available exclusively in Japan, with just one pair released at Oliver Peoples’ Marunouchi store for a price of ¥497,200 (tax included) starting today.
