TRUFAST® Unveils the TruBond™ Induction Weld System



TRUFAST®, an industry leader in technical building envelope solutions, has launched their latest innovation: the TruBond™ Induction Weld (IW) system. This cutting-edge system has been meticulously designed to mechanically attach insulation or coverboards to roofing decks through a non-penetrating method. It specifically targets the needs of single-ply membrane installations, creating a robust, induction-welded bond between the membrane and the TRUFAST IW Plate.

With this new system, TRUFAST has effectively addressed long-standing concerns regarding membrane penetrations, which can compromise the integrity of roofing structures. Instead, the TruBond IW system enhances rooftop installation efficiency while ensuring security and stability. The TruBond Induction Weld kit includes eight heat sink magnets with interchangeable handles, tailored for various membrane applications like PVC, TPA, and TPO.

Key Features of the TruBond IW System

TRUFAST IW Plates have a diameter of approximately 3-3/8 inches and are compatible with various roof deck materials including steel, wood, and structural concrete.
