Africa Business Investment Summit 2026

On August 27-28, 2026, the Africa Business Investment Summit (ABIS) will take place at the MGM National Harbor in the Washington DC Metro area. This significant event, held under the patronage of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the King of the Asante Kingdom, aims to present approximately $4 billion in investment prospects to global institutional capital.

He noted that enhanced institutional frameworks, blended financing, and policy reforms have made African investments increasingly attractive due to their appealing risk-adjusted returns. This event underscores a shift in global capital allocation as institutional investors look to capitalize on Africa's expanding infrastructure, industrialization, energy transitions, and technology initiatives.

The Summit will also showcase various projects poised to benefit from government incentives aimed at improving investment returns and appealing to long-term institutional capital. In addition to keynote addresses, the program incorporates curated deal rooms, sector-specific investment sessions, government roundtables, and private meetings designed to foster direct engagement between investors, policymakers, project sponsors, developers, and business leaders.
