Get Ready for an Exciting Driving Experience at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show

Explore the Future of Driving at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show

Overview

The eagerly anticipated 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show is set to take place from November 21 to 30, 2025, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This year's show will feature an impressive lineup of over 50 vehicles available for both test drives and passenger experiences. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to explore a wide variety of vehicles, encompassing different categories, propulsion systems, and performance types—all in a single venue.

What to Expect

The show highlights the increasingly dynamic automotive landscape, showcasing everything from rugged SUVs and cutting-edge electric vehicles to luxury sedans and high-performance machines. With the test drives inclusive in admission, this segment remains one of the most phenomenal and accessible features of the event.

Hands-On Driving Experiences

Attendees will be thrilled to know that the show offers one of the most comprehensive hands-on driving experiences in any automotive event across the nation. As they navigate the Los Angeles Convention Center, visitors can test out distinctive brands they may have never considered or find their next dream car by comparing models closely. Whether attendees are looking to dive into their first electric vehicle experience, or simply want to compare performance and comfort across various makes and models, they are sure to find something that meets their needs.

Terri Toennies, President of Los Angeles Auto Show, mentions, “There’s nothing quite like feeling a new vehicle come alive beneath you for the first time. At the LA Auto Show, visitors not only see the newest cars but also drive, compare, and discover what makes one the right choice for them.”

Outdoor Driving Experiences

This year, the outdoor driving program will be expansive, featuring an Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Test Track sponsored by CPA EV SmartCharge. This mile-long circuit, located outside the South Hall, will showcase over 20 electric models from several brands. Test drives will include:
  • - Cadillac: Escalade IQ, LYRIQ, OPTIQ, and VISTIQ
  • - Chevrolet: Blazer EV, Bolt EV (10th Anniversary), Equinox EV, and Silverado EV
  • - Lucid: Lucid Air and Gravity Touring
  • - Nissan: Consumer's first opportunity to test the new Leaf
  • - Volvo: Celebrating its 70th anniversary in the U.S. with test drives of XC90, XC60, and EX30

There's also the Gilbert Lindsay Plaza Street Drive, giving guests the chance to opt for over 30 gasoline, electric, and hybrid models, including the debut for public test drives of the electric Polestar 4 SUV.

Indoor Test Drives

Indoor test driving experiences will return to the Main Halls of the convention center, providing attendees with a program matched to their driving abilities, paired with professional drivers for controlled demonstrations focused on traction, articulation, and chassis dynamics. The South Hall will showcase “Camp Jeep,” featuring vehicles like the Wrangler 4xe tackling exciting climbs and off-road obstacles. Attendees can also check out the fully electric IONIQ lineup from Hyundai, including the models IONIQ 5 N and IONIQ 9 Calligraphy, to experience driving comfort and performance first-hand.

Plan Ahead

Visitors eager to drive are encouraged to make the test drives and ride areas their first stop upon entering the Los Angeles Auto Show. Slots fill quickly on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration upon arrival is advisable. Drivers will need to meet age requirements varying by manufacturer and must possess a valid driver’s license, with passengers allowed.
