Celebrate 110 Years of Tokyo Station Hotel with Autumn Delights: The Exclusive Maron Parfait

Tokyo Station Hotel’s 110th Anniversary Celebration

This year marks a significant milestone for the Tokyo Station Hotel, located at 1-9-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, as it celebrates its 110th anniversary. To commemorate this momentous occasion, the hotel introduces the Maron Parfait, available from October 18, 2025, at its elegant Lobby Lounge, known for its stunning Venetian glass chandeliers.

The Maron Parfait encapsulates the unique flavors of both Japanese and French chestnuts, harmoniously complemented by the addition of pear and cassis. Encounter a symphony of flavors that combine deep sweetness and refreshing acidity in this exquisite layered dessert, epitomizing the essence of autumn.

A Closer Look at the Maron Parfait

At the base of the parfait, you'll find a delightful blend of Japanese chestnut compote and caramelized pears, setting the stage for a smooth chantilly cream and a cascading layer of tangy cassis sauce. This is enhanced by a crunchy crumble and a rich vanilla ice cream made with Tahitian vanilla beans, topped with thin slices of Japanese chestnuts. The pièce de résistance is a generous dollop of both Japanese chestnut paste and chocolate chantilly that crowns the dessert with decadence.

To elevate the experience, the parfait features French chestnut ice cream, showcasing the distinct flavors from different regions through a dynamic combination of chestnut pastes. On top, you’ll find candied chestnuts (marrons glacés) and another layer of chestnut compote, ensuring that the authenticity and taste of the chestnuts shine through, enriched by the garnish of sautéed pears, crunchy chocolate feuilletine, and delightful chocolate pieces.

The resulting experience is not just about taste; it’s an orchestration of texture and flavor. The rich sweetness of chestnuts dances with the lively accents of pear and cassis, making this dessert a true labor of love by the hotel’s culinary team.
