Insights into the Future of GX Policies
The Japan Planning Institute (JPI) is set to host an insightful seminar on June 2, focusing on the ramifications of GX policies on corporate management and supply chains. The seminar, titled "Exploring the Future of GX Policies and Their Impact on Corporate Management Strategies," will feature renowned expert Hirashimoto Ken from Mitsubishi Research Institute's Energy and Sustainability Division as the keynote speaker.
Seminar Overview
In the seminar, Hirashimoto Ken will delve into the latest developments surrounding GX policies, aimed at achieving energy security, economic growth, and decarbonization. Participants can expect a comprehensive analysis of the 7th Energy Basic Plan, the ambitious GX2040 strategy, the introduction of the GX-ETS (Green Transformation Emissions Trading System), and substantial government-backed investment support strategies amounting to 20 trillion yen.
