This marks the first time an event that was previously operated independently will be integrated under TNT, a major athletic fundraising initiative.

The Velo Palmetto event, scheduled from October 22-25, will take place through the picturesque landscapes of Greenville, South Carolina. This year's cycling experience retains its status as an elite event while now being part of TNT, the largest charity endurance training program in the world.

Coker Powell, the Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of Blood Cancer United, emphasized the importance of this transition. TNT originated in 1988 through the efforts of Bruce Cleland, who gathered a group of 38 runners for the New York City Marathon to honor his daughter, Georgia, a leukemia survivor. Samantha Cleland Manekin, representing the Cleland family, shared her excitement about TNT's growth, expressing how proud her family is to witness the initiative flourish in ways that would have delighted her father.
