NIJIN Academy's Unique Experience Day for Families
In today's ever-evolving educational landscape, many children face challenges in traditional school settings, often leading to school refusal. NIJIN Academy, a pioneering alternative school with a mission to create inclusive learning environments, will host a
Special Experience Day on
September 9, 2025, from
11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at its
Campo Tokyo Harumi campus. This event aims to provide an engaging experience for those children who struggle with conventional schooling, offering them a space to thrive in their passions and talents.
Event Overview
The event welcomes school refusers, particularly elementary and middle school students, along with their parents. With a nominal fee of
1000 yen for members and 1500 yen for non-members (pre-registration required), this event promises a day filled with creativity and personal growth.
Attendees will participate in a variety of workshops tailored to showcase the unique strengths of each campus. The combination of fun, hands-on activities emphasizes the importance of exploration and self-expression. Here's a rundown of what participants can expect:
- - Soccer at Campo Tokyo Harumi with Mr. Shin-chan: Get ready to kick around the ball on spacious grounds.
- - Cooking Class at Jiyugaoka with Ms. A-chan: Create a vibrant fruit punch that is as colorful as it is delicious.
- - Art Session at Takenotsuka with Ms. Suzuki: Engage in a drawing competition that feels like a day at an art university.
Every activity is designed to allow children to enjoy themselves while recognizing and enhancing their talents.
Parental Consultation Session
Simultaneously, a
Consultation Session for Parents will address the challenges faced by school refusers. The head instructor from NIJIN Academy will be available to provide personalized advice based on their experience and available resources. Parents will have the opportunity to discuss their children's specific situations, exploring tailored strategies that foster resilience and encourage continued learning.
