400 Million Visitors Celebrate TeamLab Borderless at Tokyo's Digital Art Museum

TeamLab Borderless: A Milestone in Digital Art



Located in Tokyo's Azabudai Hills, the "Mori Building Digital Art Museum: Epson TeamLab Borderless" has officially surpassed 4 million visitors since its relocation in 2021. This remarkable figure was reached on July 31, 2026, marking roughly 2 years and 5 months since its reopening. Drawing approximately 70% of its attendees from overseas, TeamLab Borderless has captured the imagination of visitors from more than 185 countries and regions worldwide.

Among the international crowd, visitors from the United States, Australia, Canada, the UK, and Germany constitute about half of all attendees. Notably, this trend continues as 1 in every 12 travelers from the U.S. and 1 in every 9 from Australia has visited the museum during their stays in Japan between February 2024 and June 2026. Such statistics highlight TeamLab Borderless's growing influence as a premier cultural hub.
