On November 18, 2025, Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants revealed its highly anticipated extended list, ranking establishments from No.51 to No.100. This initiative celebrates the region's rich and diverse culinary offerings, reflecting the votes of 300 esteemed industry experts. The full list not only showcases traditional favorites but also introduces a variety of rising stars, emphasizing the culinary prowess across the continent.

Highlights from the Extended List



This year, the extended list features 13 new restaurants across 11 different cities. Notably, Shizen in Lima has burst onto the scene at the impressive No.62. São Paulo leads the pack with six restaurants, a significant increase from the previous year, including five which have returned and the new entry Cepa at No.73. Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Panama City, and Santiago each account for four spots, making a strong case for their culinary scenes.

Mexico City is proud to maintain its No.51 position, represented by Pujol, followed closely by Origem in Salvador at No.52. Other new entries include Umi at No.72 and Caleta at No.91, both located in Panama City, further proving that Latin America's gastronomic scene is rich and evolving.

The celebrated return of establishments also marks the list, with El Papagayo in Córdoba re-entering at No.78. There’s even a first-time entry for Ana in Guatemala City, which has also won the American Express One To Watch Award. Additionally, Aguají in Sosúa has garnered attention under Chef Inés Páez Nin (commonly known as Chef Tita), recognized with the Champions of Change Award 2025.
