Who We Are


Kizuki Co-educational School, under Kizuki Inc. based in Shibuya, Tokyo, is a social enterprise dedicated to tackling social issues in education and welfare. Our mission is to provide learning and employment support for individuals dealing with school refusal, developmental disorders, depression, and economic hardship. Since our inception, we have experienced growth rates exceeding 150% annually.

During this online event, we will share insights from our current teachers, many of whom have their own experiences with school refusal or have overcome significant challenges. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear real-life stories that illustrate the impact of our work, as well as the rewarding nature of teaching at Kizuki.

Who We Are Looking For


We welcome applications for part-time teacher positions. No specific educational or support experience is required, but candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Learning Support: Ability to teach at least one subject at the university entrance level. Candidates who have passed university entrance exams but have no prior teaching experience are also eligible.
2. Emotional Support: Must be able to empathize with students who have faced setbacks. Experience in providing support or relevant qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
3. Commitment: Must be able to work for at least six months.
4. Availability: Must be able to teach a minimum of two classes per week (individual sessions lasting 90 minutes each).

Salary Structure


Salaries vary by location and level of experience:
  • - Tokyo / Kanagawa: ¥1,763 per session (during training: ¥1,748)
  • - Saitama: ¥1,635 per session (during training: ¥1,620)
  • - Aichi: ¥1,700 per session (during training: ¥1,680)
  • - Kyoto / Osaka / Hyogo: ¥1,688 per session (during training: ¥1,673)
  • - Fukuoka: ¥1,770 per session (hourly: ¥1,180)
