Celebrating 15 Years of World of Tanks

Wargaming is excited to announce that their flagship PC tank action game, World of Tanks, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this summer. Since its launch in 2010, this game has garnered respect and admiration worldwide, attracting millions of players. As part of the largest celebration ever, Wargaming has organized a special event filled with anniversary missions and an array of exclusive items designed to express gratitude towards its dedicated community.

CEO Victor Kislyi shared his thoughts on the milestone, stating, "Fifteen years ago, we launched World of Tanks aiming to create an unprecedented tank game. This anniversary not only celebrates epic tank battles but also the deep connections formed among players over the years. To mark the occasion, a commemorative video titled '15 Years of Friendship: A Journey Through Memories' has also been released, reflecting on the bonds and experiences created within the game.

Event Details

The 15th Anniversary Event is set to take place from August 8 to August 31, 2025. Here’s an overview of what players can expect:

• - The Anniversary Album will be available in the garage. Players can log in daily to open envelopes and earn rewards while looking back at the history of World of Tanks.

• - A special chapter for the Battle Pass will be implemented. This will allow players to acquire the newly introduced Tier VIII French Heavy Tank ‘Brennos’, special crew members, and numerous in-game items.

• - Two weekends in August will feature the popular amusement mode Infinite Barrage, which offers a fast-paced battle experience with eight special vehicles firing thousands of rounds every minute.

• - A special streaming program will celebrate the anniversary, including exclusive 3D and 2D styles, crew skins, and Tier VIII-IX premium vehicles as viewer rewards.

As a special treat for veteran players, accounts created before April 14, 2012, will receive a 15th Anniversary badge. In addition, battles featuring veteran players will grant a +15% credit bonus to all participants.
