Advancing Careers in Applied Behavior Analysis at CSD University

The Center for Social Dynamics (CSD) is excited to announce the expansion of its training and development program, CSD University, aimed at accelerating career growth within the realm of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This initiative was originally launched in March 2024 and has already made significant strides in fostering professional development at every stage of a clinician's career.

CSD University commenced with three foundational programs:
1. New Hire Clinician Academy – Designed to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new clinicians at CSD, aligning them with the company’s high clinical standards from their first day.
2. Clinical Leader (CL) Academy – Tailored for the development of future clinical leaders, this program offers structured training and guides participants through a promotion pathway.
3. Clinical Director (CD) Academy – Aimed at preparing experienced clinicians for leadership roles, equipping them with the skills necessary to lead teams effectively.

Since its inception, CSD University has celebrated the graduation of 105 employees, with 78 participants achieving promotions in clinical roles. Remarkably, 63% of those promoted began their careers as Behavior Technicians, highlighting CSD’s commitment to nurturing long-term careers in ABA.

Introducing the Leadership Academy

In January 2025, CSD University took a major step forward by launching its fourth program, the Leadership Academy. This initiative is specifically designed to empower clinical and administrative staff with critical leadership skills, reinforcing CSD’s tradition of fostering internal talent. The Academy will ensure that employees at all levels can aspire to ascend into director and executive roles.

Anna Moznavsky, SVP of Clinical Operations and Quality at CSD, shared, “Many clinicians stumble into ABA unexpectedly, but our aim is to inspire them to build sustained careers through well-defined and accessible career pathways. CSD University seeks to cultivate an environment where entry-level staff can visualize and realize their long-term ambitions in this field.”

Career Advancement Through Educational Programs

CSD University is part of a broader movement to dismantle barriers to career growth in ABA. Since 2022, the organization has also introduced Dreams Come True, a college pathway initiative that provides tuition reimbursement for participants at partner universities. Kelly Bozarth, CEO of CSD, remarked, “The synergy of CSD University and Dreams Come True will significantly reshape the career trajectories of countless individuals. The future leaders of ABA are actively engaged in these programs and are dedicated to client success.”

CSD offers pathways for clinicians at every stage, including options to pursue a Master’s degree in ABA and attain Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCBA-D certifications. The addition of the Leadership Academy encapsulates CSD’s commitment to enriching both technical knowledge and essential leadership capabilities necessary for effectively guiding teams and serving families.
