Grubhub, a leading U.S. food delivery service, is taking a significant step towards enhancing customer convenience by expanding its partnership with Avride to introduce an autonomous robot delivery pilot in Jersey City. This initiative will mark the first instance where Grubhub offers robotic delivery outside of college campuses, representing a pioneering effort to elevate customer service in urban environments.

During the pilot program, customers ordering from Wonder’s Jersey City location through the Grubhub app will have the unique option to choose delivery via an Avride robot, provided their delivery address falls within a designated range. This innovation comes as a result of Wonder's distinctive multi-restaurant model, allowing diners to select from over 20 different culinary concepts. Notable offerings include Alanza, Tejas Barbecue, and Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, all prepared fresh and delivered swiftly, ensuring an optimal dining experience that pairs perfectly with the efficiency of robot-assisted delivery.

Featuring Avride’s latest generation of delivery robots, this service will employ AI-driven autonomous navigation technology.
