Elvira Dyangani Ose Takes the Helm for Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial

In an exciting development for the art community, the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi has appointed Elvira Dyangani Ose as the Artistic Director for the second edition of the Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial. Elvira Dyangani Ose is currently the Director of the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA) and has previously held the position of Director and Chief Curator at The Showroom in London. Her extensive resume includes impressive roles, such as Curator at the eighth Gothenburg International Biennial for Contemporary Art, Senior Curator at Creative Time, and Curatorial roles at Tate Modern among others. Her endeavors within these institutions highlight Ose's ability to navigate and reshape the narratives surrounding contemporary art.
