VivaTech Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary with Major Expansions and Innovations

VivaTech Celebrates a Decade of Innovation

VivaTech, a leading European platform for startups, established corporations, investors, and decision-makers, is gearing up to celebrate its 10th anniversary from June 17 to 20, 2026. Hosted at the Porte de Versailles, this year promises significant growth and exciting developments.

Over the past decade, VivaTech has solidified its reputation and enjoyed a remarkable increase in attendance, with over 180,000 visitors from 171 countries in 2025. This represents a staggering 300% growth from its early years, attracting thrice the number of startups and a twelvefold increase in investors.

As part of its commitment to innovation, the 2026 edition will see an expanded exhibit area occupying Pavilion 7, which features 30% more space compared to previous events. Attendees can expect double the capacity with 15,000 startups showcasing their projects and more than 1,500 demonstrations. The event will facilitate over 4,000 business meetings, supported by special 'Investor Consultation Sessions' aimed at strengthening connections between founders and international investors.

Focus on Future Challenges

The 2026 theme centers around crucial technological and geopolitical challenges anticipated over the next decade. As Artificial Intelligence continues to emerge as a transformative force in productivity and organizational change, discussions will revolve around key topics such as:

1. AI and Productivity
2. Cybersecurity and Defense
3. Green Technologies and Energy
4. Advanced Technologies

The festival will introduce several groundbreaking innovations, including brain-computer interfaces, exoskeletons, conversational agents, automated vulnerability detection systems, and solutions for energy transition, alongside developments in quantum, space, and extended reality technologies.

Celebrating European Innovation

Highlighting its European dimension, Germany has been designated as the 'Country of the Year 2026', marking its largest delegation in the history of the fair. With an 800 square meter stand showcasing 200 startups and numerous federal and regional partners from 14 states and 12 government entities, this sends a clear message advocating for European sovereignty and technological leadership.

In a bid to reach a broader audience, VivaTech will also take to the iconic Champs-Élysées on June 14 for the first time, offering a free immersive day focused on everyday technologies such as AI, robotics, mobility, climate, and health.

Additionally, on June 20, the VivaTech Festival will cater to the youth aged 18 to 35, featuring content focusing on AI's relationship with society, the creative economy, and future talents, capped off with a Career Festival. This initiative is designed to engage a younger audience and enhance their connection to technology.

With high-profile speakers from both startups and large corporations participating, the 10th edition of VivaTech aims to establish itself as a must-attend global event at the crossroads of innovation, business, and critical discussions about the future of technology.
