About Satoshi Miyatani

Satoshi Miyatani, CEO of Locus Blue Co., Ltd., a company specializing in 3D data analysis for civil engineering, is committed to utilizing technology to resolve social issues. His journey began in Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Prefecture, where he first dreamed of becoming an astronaut during his high school years. His academic pursuit at the University of Tokyo in aerospace engineering opened his eyes to the fast-paced evolution of technology and the importance of cultural diversity.

After graduating, Miyatani chose an unconventional route, gaining experience in France at the aerospace manufacturer Airbus and contributing to startups in Silicon Valley and Israel. This exposure ignited his passion for entrepreneurship, leading him to establish Locus Blue in 2019, where he developed the "ScanX" platform to streamline disaster response and urban design.
