Nobita is envious after hearing an impressive story from Suneo about the magnificent stars he saw in Hawaii. Having never experienced the beauty of a starry sky himself, Nobita turns to Doraemon for assistance. In response, Doraemon brings out his special gadget, the "Indoor Travel Machine," which fills Nobita's room with the stunning Hawaiian night sky.

During this adventure, Doraemon explains how people throughout history have gazed at the stars, creating various "models of space" to understand the universe better. Suddenly, Nobita and his friends find themselves inside a completely realistic "Celestial Globe" where they board a spaceship for a thrilling trip through space. But as they navigate the cosmos, they come perilously close to a black hole, raising the question—will they manage to return safely to Earth?
