WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO x TAKERU AMANO Collaboration

The cutting-edge conceptual project WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO is thrilled to announce a new collaboration with contemporary artist Takeru Amano. This exciting project will launch on Saturday, July 12, showcasing a unique collection of original paintings at WILDSIDE HARAJUKU.

This collaboration features three new paintings inspired by Amano’s signature motifs, including two pieces titled “VENUS” and a vibrant piece titled “Lemon.” Each painting, painted on a square canvas measuring 445mm, combines WILDSIDE’s concept color of black with other striking hues. The first piece, “Venus in the dark,” is dramatic, presented against a stark black background. The second, “Venus in pink,” stands out with a brilliant pink backdrop, while “Lemon” showcases Amano's distinctive color palette and rich sensory appeal.

Starting July 12, visitors will have the chance to view these exclusive works at WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO HARAJUKU and participate in a lottery to purchase the paintings. Alongside these stunning paintings, WILDSIDE has also released a graphic T-shirt featuring a bold print of “Venus in the dark” in inverted colors, merging the worlds of art and fashion seamlessly into a distinctive collection.
