Exploring Two Decades of Innovation: The Journey of Abstract Engine

Celebrating 20 Years of Innovation

In honor of its 20th anniversary, Abstract Engine has unveiled the chronicle titled "20 Years in Motion", marking a significant milestone from its foundation on July 25, 2006. This chronicle reflects on two decades of creativity by showcasing its influential projects and significant achievements while analyzing the evolution of technology and society.

The chronicle isn’t merely an archive of past accomplishments; it serves as a narrative of how the digital creative scene has transformed over the years, emphasizing the current capabilities of Abstract Engine and its future aspirations for societal contributions.

Evolution of Activities Over Two Decades

Since its inception, Abstract Engine has been at the forefront of exploring the interplay between technology and expression. By utilizing sound, visuals, space, and systems, they have produced groundbreaking projects. In tandem with these developments, technology itself has dramatically evolved, altering the landscape of artistic expression. The rise of smartphones, the ubiquity of social media, and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have all contributed to the transformation of how creative work happens online. Moreover, the integration of AI and advanced technologies broadens the scope of practices, enabling responses to increasingly complex social and business challenges.

A Shift in Focus

As the years progressed, Abstract Engine's focus expanded beyond the screen to bodily experiences, spatial environments, urban settings, and societal interactions. Their approach now encompasses more than just creating artwork or experiences; they engage in extensive research, business planning, strategic design, product development, and local project implementation.

The "20 Years in Motion" narrative aims to elucidate the temporal shifts in their activities alongside the evolving landscape, offering a cohesive timeline that illustrates this growth.
