TED's New Leadership: Visionary Heads for a Transformative Future

TED Announces New Leadership for its Next Chapter

TED, a nonprofit organization committed to the discovery and dissemination of ideas, has launched into a new chapter with the appointment of Sal Khan and Logan McClure Davda to pivotal leadership roles. In a recent announcement from New York, TED confirmed Khan as a board member and Vision Steward while appointing Davda as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

This decision arrives after a comprehensive search that spanned nine months, during which TED consulted with nearly 100 organizations, investors, and individuals globally. This proactive approach followed the decision of long-time leader Chris Anderson to usher in a new direction that respects TED's foundational ethos while striving for growth and impact.

Sal Khan, known as the founder and CEO of Khan Academy, embodies the values TED has championed for years: curiosity, generosity, and the potential of technology in education.
