BYSN HIGASHI OSAKA ROASTERY, the 8th location of a specialized employment support service for individuals with disabilities, was inaugurated in Higashi Osaka City in June 2025. This initiative aims to create a society where everyone can live authentically, spearheaded by Start Line Inc., based in Mitaka, Tokyo. CEO Kenji Nishimura emphasizes the importance of inclusivity and empowerment through meaningful work.

What is BYSN?

BYSN stands for “Bilingual Youth Service Network” and is focused on providing employment support via coffee roasting. Here, employees with disabilities are trained to roast high-quality coffee beans using professional-grade roasting machines. This not only creates excellent coffee products, such as customized drip packs for companies but also enhances a company's visibility and employee satisfaction.

The initiative encourages social interactions through various company events and activities, contributing positively to the workplace atmosphere. Moreover, BYSN supports career development by assisting employees in acquiring certifications like Coffee Meister, helping them grow in their professional journey.
