World of Tanks and Wolfenstein Collaboration
Wargaming has recently announced an exciting collaboration between their renowned tank action game,
World of Tanks, and the iconic game series
Wolfenstein developed by
MachineGames. Beginning October 2 and running until October 13, players can immerse themselves in a brand-new limited-time Battle Pass chapter themed around
Wolfenstein. This event allows players to embody
William J. Blazkowicz and join the Resistance, earning various exclusive rewards throughout the limited-time event.
Event Overview
During the event, players who progress through the chapter will have the opportunity to earn legendary characters,
William J. Blazkowicz and his nemesis,
Wilhelm Strasse (General Deathshead), as commanders. Additionally, players can recruit other Resistance heroes, including
Anya Oliwa,
Caroline Becker, and the ominous
Frau Engel. Each character comes equipped with three unique perks and original voice packs, enhancing the overall gameplay experience. Completing all 40 stages of the collaboration chapter unlocks
Wolfenstein-themed decals, inscriptions, and 2D styles, alongside the exclusive characters.
For players seeking even more content, purchasing the Battle Pass-specific packs grants access to additional unique rewards, as well as the opportunity to tackle special combat missions, further diversifying the gameplay.
Introducing Zwilling: The First Tier VIII Heavy Tank with a Dual-Cannon
The
Zwilling, providing players with powerful dual-cannon artillery, becomes available as the first German Tier VIII heavy tank. This tank, repurposed by Blazkowicz and the Resistance from enemy forces, boasts rapid targeting capabilities, robust armor, and agile maneuverability. Players can utilize both devastating barrage and precision single-shot mechanics with the
Zwilling. Adorned with the
Götterfaust 3D style, this vehicle showcases brutalism and industrial design, incorporating visual motifs from the
Wolfenstein universe, such as drone hulls and Panzerhund heads. Overall, the design of the
Zwilling embodies the spirit of resistance and vengeance.
Original Character Voice Packs for Enhanced Gameplay
Five characters from the
Wolfenstein series join the battle, each voiced by the original actors. Players can earn both
William J. Blazkowicz and
Wilhelm Strasse through chapter progression, while
Anya Oliwa,
Caroline Becker, and
Frau Engel can be acquired from the in-game shop, all equipped with three perks and distinct voice packs. Join the Resistance to command the
