Exciting Updates on Lazy Witch's Factory

Melt Clock Co., Ltd., based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, is thrilled to announce the start of the open beta test for its highly anticipated PC game, Lazy Witch's Factory, on May 1st, 2026, at 00:30. This exciting time for gamers also marks the upcoming launch of a crowdfunding campaign on CAMPFIRE, expected to start around the same dates (from May 1st to May 8th).

Open Beta Testing Details

Gamers can join the open beta test by clicking the "Join Playtest" button on the Steam store page. The test runs from May 1st to May 10th, 2026, and there is no limit on the number of participants. The best part? It’s completely free to join! Please note that save data from the beta will not carry over to the final version of the game.

During the previous playtest, 3,658 players participated, providing valuable feedback, leading to 262 reports that helped us improve the gameplay experience. Over a span of nine days, we rolled out 13 updates to enhance the game further, ensuring that participants enjoy a smooth and entertaining experience.

Key Updates in This Version

We've taken player feedback into account and made significant improvements:

• - Reduced Conveyor Processing Load: The conveyor system burden has been decreased by approximately 1/20, improving performance dramatically. For more details, check out the articles available on our Steam page.

• - Tutorial Missions for New Players: Newbies can now get acquainted with the game through guided missions that teach them the ropes in an engaging format.

• - New Sponsorships and Debt Repayment Strategies: Meet our new sponsor, Belphegor, along with the summoner witch, which allows players to craft summoner witches for overwhelming victories by deploying legions of familiars.

• - Enhanced Factory Editing Features: We've implemented several user-friendly functionalities, such as intuitive drag-and-drop conveyor placement and a copy-paste feature, making factory layouts more manageable.

Crowdfunding Campaign on CAMPFIRE

As part of our efforts to deliver the best possible version of Lazy Witch's Factory, we’ll be launching our crowdfunding campaign on CAMPFIRE. The project, titled "Delivering Lazy Witch's Factory in the Best Possible Form!", aims to raise ¥1 million via an 'All-In' method. The support period is set to end on May 31st, 2026, at 23:59.
