3rd Hometown Tokyo Support Festival: Beer and Yukata Bon Odori in Ueno 2026

Mark your calendars for the 3rd Hometown Tokyo Support Festival from July 3rd to July 5th, 2026! Taking place at the beautiful Ueno Onshi Park, this festival promises to bring together the best of Tokyo's summer vibes through the joyous combination of beer and Yukata – traditional Japanese summer attire.

This year’s theme is “JAPAN LOVE”, and the festival will feature various local gourmet food stalls, an array of craft beers from across Japan, and traditional Bon Odori dance performances. Attendees can also look forward to a special anime-themed Bon Odori segment, which has attracted a lot of enthusiasm in previous editions of the festival.

In the inaugural event, attendees enjoyed iconic songs such as “Lion” from the Macross Frontier series, while last year featured “The Hottest Summer in the World” by Princess Princess. We are excited to introduce more popular tunes this year, ensuring an even more lively and engaging atmosphere. This event will cater to everyone, from novices to experienced dancers, all under the enchanting summer evening sky.

Visitors can indulge in savoring craft beers, showcasing the unique qualities of various regions, as well as classic beers. The festival will also provide delightful treats including soft serve ice cream and Kakigori (Japanese shaved ice). This welcoming environment is perfect for families and friends of all ages to immerse themselves in the delightful Japanese summer ambience.
