Koto Work Support Center: A New Era of Employment Assistance
In the heart of Koto City, the Koto Work Support Center has undergone a significant renovation, symbolizing a commitment to enhancing employment opportunities for all. This strategic shift comes from Persol Business Process Design Co., Ltd., under the overarching vision of "Let’s Work and Smile". The facility aims to provide comprehensive support for job seekers and small businesses, facilitating a more inclusive job market.
Overview of the Koto Work Support Center
Established in 2015, the Koto Work Support Center has operated under the auspices of the Koto City government. Its primary objective has been to connect job seekers—particularly from the local community—with small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking for talent. With the aim of promoting economic revitalization, the Center has successfully assisted over 11,000 job seekers and around 2,350 local businesses since its inception.
As of April 1, 2025, the facility will transition its name from the "Koto Young and Women’s Employment Center" to the new and broader designation of "Koto Work Support Center". This change reflects a greater commitment to inclusivity, welcoming individuals of all ages and genders to utilize the services on offer.
