Event Highlights
The fair promises an exhilarating weekend with a variety of lifestyle and fashion goods alongside exclusive business products that are typically not available to the public. Noteworthy first-time exhibitors include the long-standing paper product company,
Mitoya Co., Ltd., known for its popular Wa-cho and Daifuku-cho notebooks, and
And Or Co., Ltd., which specializes in gluten-free granola.
Special Guest Speakers
Adding another layer of excitement, the fair will feature talks from prominent figures such as essayist
Matsumura Yataro and toy creator
Takahashi Shinpei. Scheduled for four sessions over the two days, these talks will offer valuable insights into product development and business practices blended with creative storytelling.
Matsumura Yataro
Matsumura, a renowned essayist and creative director, has been influential in the literary scene since opening
COWBOOKS, a pioneering select book store in Nakameguro in 2002. With a rich background in editorial leadership at
Kurashi no Techo and a shift into the IT sector, he has collaborated with various companies and is currently the chief supervisor of
UNIQLO's 'Life Wear Story 100'. Additionally, he directed the film
'Every Place is Always a Journey'.
Takahashi Shinpei
Born in Akita, Takahashi made waves in the toy industry after joining
Bandai in 2004, where he developed the award-winning
∞ (Mugen) Puchipuchi, which sold
3.35 million units in its first year. Post-Bandai, he founded
Usagi Co., Ltd. in 2014, focusing on integrating play into design and addressing social issues through creativity. His recent publication,
'Introduction to Board Game Production', sheds light on his innovative approach to play.

In addition to the guest speakers, the fair will feature presentations from local businesses that exemplify innovative practices, shedding light on new discoveries and learnings for attendees.
Fujiyah
Fujiyah, a traditional
tenugui shop in Asakusa that has thrived over three generations, will present its unique
hand-dyed towels, renowned for their beautiful finish achieved through the exquisite technique of
chusen dyeing.
Message Co.
Starting in 1947,
Message Co. grew from the
Ogawa Kazumasa Shoten roots, emphasizing craftsmanship and leather in their designs. Their city-walking focus is evident in their ergonomic backpacks that blend functionality with style.
